This Cookie Policy explains how NEXA uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. We have deliberately kept our use of cookies to the strict minimum.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device through your browser. Cookies allow a site to recognise your browser across requests and to keep track of certain information — for example, the fact that you are signed in.

2. The cookies we use

NEXA only uses strictly necessary cookies, required to operate the service and to keep you signed in. We do not use cookies for analytics, profiling, advertising, or third-party tracking of any kind.

Name Purpose Duration
_nexa_session Keeps you signed in to your account during a browsing session and protects against CSRF attacks. Session
remember_user_token Set only if you tick "Remember me" at sign-in, so you don't have to log in again on your next visit. Up to 2 weeks

Because these cookies are required to provide the service you request (signing in to your account), they do not require your consent under the GDPR (Art. 6.1.b) or the Swiss FADP.

3. Third-party cookies during social login

If you choose to sign in with Google or LinkedIn, you will be redirected to those providers' domains. They may set their own cookies, governed by their respective cookie and privacy policies. NEXA has no control over those cookies, and they are not set on the NEXA domain.

4. Managing cookies

You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings. Please be aware that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to NEXA.

5. Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce additional categories of cookies (for example, optional analytics), this policy will be updated and you will be asked for consent through a clear cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
