Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
NEXA (“NEXA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through nexa-network.com (the “Site”), how and why we use it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to everyone who visits the Site or shares their details with us, anywhere in the world.
NEXA is based in Switzerland. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revised FADP) and, where it applies to our users, the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where other local laws grant you stronger rights, we respect those too.
1. Who is responsible for your data
NEXA is the controller of your personal data — meaning we decide why and how it is processed. You can contact us at any time about your data at info@nexa-network.com. Details of the person operating NEXA are set out at the end of this policy.
2. What personal data we collect
- Email address — when you join our waitlist or contact us. This is the main data we collect.
- Information you provide voluntarily — such as your name or the content of a message, if you choose to include it when contacting us.
- Technical data — when you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically process limited technical information (such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the date and time of access) in order to deliver, maintain and secure the Site.
We do not collect special categories of data (such as health, religious or political information), and we do not ask you for them.
3. Why we use your data, and our legal basis
- To keep you informed about NEXA — to tell you when NEXA launches and to send you related updates. Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit your email.
- To respond to your enquiries — legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site — legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe and functional service.
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
4. How we share your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only with a small number of carefully chosen service providers (“processors”), who act strictly on our instructions and under contract:
- Netlify — hosting and delivery of the Site.
- Supabase — secure database storage of the information you submit (hosted within the EU).
- Brevo (or an equivalent email service) — to send launch and update emails, once this service is activated.
- Google — aggregate website analytics, and only where you have consented to analytics cookies (see section 10).
We may also disclose data where we are required to do so by law, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
5. International data transfers
Because our users and some of our providers are located in different countries, your data may be processed outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we ensure an adequate level of protection through appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism recognised under Swiss law.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your email and any messages only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above — in practice, until you ask us to delete them, you unsubscribe, or you object to their use. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
7. How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including storing it with reputable providers that offer encryption and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@nexa-network.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority — in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); in the EU, your local supervisory authority.
10. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how people find and move around the Site — for example how many visitors arrive from social media, and which pages they read. This helps us improve NEXA. It does not tell us who you are: we do not use analytics to identify or profile individuals, and advertising cookies are switched off.
These analytics cookies are not set unless you agree. When you first visit the Site, a banner asks for your choice, and analytics remain disabled until you accept. Storage strictly necessary for the Site to function may be used without consent, as the law allows.
You can change your mind at any time by selecting “Cookies” at the bottom of any page, or by clearing the cookies stored by your browser. Declining does not limit your use of the Site in any way.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The “last updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and significant changes will be made clear on the Site.
12. Contact
For any question or request relating to this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@nexa-network.com.
